- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 tbs ground ginger
- 1/4 cup cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup turmeric
- 1 1/2 cup water (plus 1/2 cup more later)
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- raw honey
Combine pepper, ginger, cinnamon and salt and set aside.
Combine turmeric and 1 1/2 cup water. Stir constantly over medium heat until gentle simmer.
Add other 1/2 cup water. Continue to stir.
Add other spices and stir on low heat until thick paste.
Take off heat and add coconut oil. Stir until smooth. Chill. Good in refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
Stir 1/2 tbs paste into large cup warm almond or coconut milk. Sweeten to taste with raw honey. Drink at least once a day.
