Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 tbs ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup turmeric
  • 1 1/2 cup water (plus 1/2 cup more later)
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • raw honey

Instructions

  • Combine pepper, ginger, cinnamon and salt and set aside.
  • Combine turmeric and 1 1/2 cup water. Stir constantly over medium heat until gentle simmer.
  • Add other 1/2 cup water. Continue to stir.
  • Add other spices and stir on low heat until thick paste.
  • Take off heat and add coconut oil. Stir until smooth. Chill. Good in refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
  • Stir 1/2 tbs paste into large cup warm almond or coconut milk. Sweeten to taste with raw honey. Drink at least once a day.
