This Chicken Enchilada Soup recipe is made in a slow cooker with cans and spices that you have on hand.  Just add frozen chicken breasts.

Who doesn’t love their slow cooker?  Just put in all of the ingredients in the morning and let it cook all day.  And it makes the house smell good!  I wanted to eat this soup for lunch – but knew it wasn’t ready til dinner.

We’ve always got a lot of use from our slow cooker.  But usually by April we’ve traded it out for the grill.

This is a healthier whole grain pasta dish.  And, many of you have most of these items in your pantry and freezer.

We normally have a pasta dish one night a week.  I like switching it up and trying different combinations.  This recipe uses ground turkey and Italian turkey sausages and whole grain penne rigate.

Since we love pasta SO much, I can eat this dish and not feel entirely guilty.

Freshen Up that Old Gas Grill

If you have a gas grill like I do, then you know that after a season or two of grilling the steel heat plates get really nasty with food drippings and even begin to rust after a while.

And even though I winterize every year and remove the heat plates, wrap them and place them in the garage along with the grill plates themselves, they still somehow manage to rust.
The gas burners and cross over tubes are the worst and do wear out.
